Three other journalists continue their protest.
Three days after the start of hunger strikes in solidarity with imprisoned journalist Eynulla Fatullayev, three more journalists have joined the protests, taking over from Shahvalad Chobanoghlu, Gan Turali and Elchin Hasanov in the strikes. The group that first started the strikes were replaced today by the writer Seymur Baycan, Azadliq editor Rovshan Hajibeyli and journalist Samir Kazimli.
The strikers are demanding the government to comply with ruling of the European Court of Human Rights,made on 22 April and upheld in the appeal of 4 October, which called on the Azerbaijani government to immediately release Eynulla Fatullayev, and pay him 27,822 euros in damages.
The strike is being held at Musavat Party headquarters.
